Up for sale is a 1920s HAWTHORNE DELUXE 28” TANK BICYCLE. VERY RARE EXAMPLE. BARN FIND CONDITION. TANK HAS OPENING DOOR ON ONE SIDE. HEART SPROCKET. REAR FENDER HAS METAL LICENSE PLATE FROM THE 1950s FROM BEVERLY MA. EARLIER BRASS LICENSE PLATE ON THE FRONT CLOQUET (MN?) 1937-1938. STITCHING ON THE SEAT HAS COME UNDONE ON THE BOTTOM LEFT HAND CORNER. NO RIPS OR TEARS IN LEATHER SEAT. BICYCLE APPEARS TO BE ALL ORIGINAL. GRIPS ARE IN ROUGH CONDITION. FRONT PORTION OF REAR RACK IS LOOSE. SOME WEAR TO PAINT, CHIPPING AND LIGHT SURFACE RUST; BUT GRAPHICS ARE OVERALL INTACT. RARE PREWAR EXAMPLE. 28” WHEELS. REAR TIRE HAS FLAT PORTION FROM SITTING. Do you combine shipping?
Yes, we are happy to combine shipping. Feel free to purchase any items and before paying, request a combined shipping invoice to save!
What if my item arrives damaged?
No worries, ALL items are insured by me and by the shipping provider. Simply send photos showing evidence of the damage when submitting your return and a prompt refund will be issued, including shipping within a few hours at most.
Do you accept returns?
If the item is not functional or not as described, I will be happy to issue a full refund. Every now and again I do make a mistake, and I make it right. Please contact me if you are not satisfied for any reason. Your input whether positive or negative will make me and my store better for future customers! Please resolve any issues with me first before leaving any neutral/negative feedback. A response will be given within a few hours at most.
When will you ship out my order?
All orders placed during business hours Monday-Friday will be sent out within 2 business days. Smaller items are shipped via Priority Mail (Carrier takes 1-3 business days). Larger items will be shipped via FedEx or UPS (Carrier takes 4-7 business days).
*Central and Pacific Time Zones should expect shipping more towards the higher number of days

How well will you pack my item?
I work hard to pack carefully. If your item is very fragile or heavy, it will be shipped in a wooden crate at no additional cost. I have had very few packages ever break, and it is almost always due to extreme negligence by a careless USPS, UPS or FedEx employee. I cannot control someone running over my package, but rest assure I will resolve the matter if your item is broken or never arrives, and I will NEVER leave a buyer to resolve it alone.
